year Ann Efimetz, the theatre critic for The Virginia Gazette, sums
up the previous theatre season by listing her choices for the year's "best"
--best play, best musical, best director, best actors, and so forth. In
a play on her name, the award is now called "The Effy."
Below are her awards for the 2001-2002 season. As you can tell from the article, she was remarkably kind to Kiss Me Kate --five honors!-- for which we all are deeply appreciative. |
